MCO ground transportation runs from the $2 LYNX bus and shared shuttles (about $18.66 per adult to Disney) to taxis ($38 to $68 to I-Drive or Disney) and Uber or Lyft (about $35 to $70). JOB Transportation of Florida charges one flat price per private vehicle: minivans and SUVs for up to 6 from $89, and 12- and 14-passenger Ford Transit vans from $145.

What MCO ground transportation options are there?

Without a rental car, Orlando International Airport gives you six main ways to reach your hotel, and the best one depends on your group size. As MCO puts it, taxis charge per trip while shuttles charge per person, so the more people you are, the less each pays in a taxi, rideshare or private vehicle.

How much is an Orlando airport shuttle per person for a group?

At 6 riders and from 9 up, a JOB vehicle to Disney costs less per person than a shared seat at about $18.66 per adult, down to $12.79 each in a full 14-passenger van. A shared shuttle charges every rider; JOB charges once per vehicle. Here is MCO to a Disney resort, one way, for adults.

Mears totals use the $17.60 adult fare plus the 6% fuel surcharge; children 3 to 9 pay $14.30 plus the surcharge. The cruise math works the same way: fourteen riders to Port Canaveral in our 14-passenger van pay $17.79 each, against $29.99 per person on the Go Port shuttle or $45 per guest on Disney Cruise Line's bus. Share your flight number when you book.

  4. 4

Buckle in with any car seats you asked for, with a grocery stop on the way if you want one.

Meet and greet at MCO, and late flights

With our meet and greet, your pickup starts at baggage claim, so you skip the rideshare curb and the taxi line. Meet and greet is quoted with your ride.

  • Terminals A and B: baggage claim is on Level 2 (carousels 1 to 16 in A, 20 to 32 in B); the ground transportation curb is on Level 1.
  • Terminal C: baggage claim and the airport's Meet & Greet Area are both on Level 6. More in our MCO Terminal C pickup guide.
  • MCO suggests about 20 minutes from landing to the curb, or 40 with checked bags. Late flight? We adjust your pickup to your flight's new time (send us your flight number). We drive by reservation (call or WhatsApp to check your time).

Orlando International Airport car service: what every JOB ride includes

Disney's Minnie Van and an UberXL seat up to 6, and an MCO taxi up to 9. Our Transit vans keep up to 14 people together in one vehicle; see our private group shuttle in 12- and 14-passenger vans.

  • One flat price per vehicle, with tolls and MCO airport fees included and gratuity optional. No per-seat charges and no surge pricing.
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal, with a name sign at baggage claim.
  • Car seats and boosters on request: we carry seats and boosters for each child's age and size, and they are priced when you book. More on our car service with car seats.
  • A grocery stop on the way to your hotel or vacation home (arranged when you book).
  • Spanish-speaking drivers. Hablamos español. Vea nuestra guía del aeropuerto de Orlando.
  • $1,000,000 in liability insurance, well above the $125,000/$250,000/$50,000 minimum Florida sets for for-hire vehicles (Fla. Stat. 324.032). General information, not legal advice.

Is there free transportation from Orlando airport to my hotel?

Only at some hotels. Participating hotels run free shuttles from Level 1 of Terminals A, B and C and the Train Station, and Universal's SuperStar Shuttle serves Universal hotels from Terminal A (spaces A30 to A33) and Terminal C (C282 to C283). Walt Disney World does not include airport transportation with a resort stay.

If your hotel has no shuttle, or you are 10 to 14 people headed to a Kissimmee or ChampionsGate vacation home, a private van is the simplest ride: one pickup, no stops at other hotels, and groceries before check-in. Still choosing where to stay? See hotels with a shuttle to Universal, and the Disney World transportation guide.

Rides back to MCO

Book your ride to the airport with your arrival. MCO recommends reaching security 2 hours before departure, so from a Disney or Kissimmee hotel, plan to leave about 3 hours before a domestic flight. Drop-off is on the Departures level: Level 3 at Terminals A and B, Level 2 at Terminal C. Staying at Disney? See Disney World to MCO.

Coming off a cruise? Disney Cruise Line lists 11:15 AM as the earliest MCO flight on debarkation day, and Carnival's transfers need flights no earlier than 12:50 PM. See Port Canaveral to Orlando airport, or our baggage hold for a later flight.

Frequently asked questions

Landing at MCO?

Call, text or WhatsApp us with your flight, where you're staying and your group size. We reply with a flat price.

What is the cheapest MCO ground transportation?

The LYNX bus, at $2 per ride from Terminal A, Level 1, serving the Convention Center, SeaWorld, Downtown Orlando and the Florida Mall. For groups, a private vehicle often costs less per person than shuttle seats: 14 riders pay $12.79 each to Disney in our 14-passenger van.

Is a shuttle cheaper than a taxi or Uber from MCO?

For 1 or 2 people, usually yes, because shuttles charge per person. Taxis and rideshares charge per trip, and an MCO taxi carries up to 9 people for the same metered fare, so groups of 4 or more often pay less with a taxi, rideshare or private vehicle.

Where do I meet my JOB driver at MCO?

Inside the terminal at baggage claim, where your driver holds a sign with your name. Baggage claim is on Level 2 in Terminals A and B and on Level 6 in Terminal C.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We adjust your pickup to your flight's new time (send us your flight number). If your plans change, call or text 407-837-5656.

Do you provide car seats for airport pickups?

Yes. Tell us each child's age and weight when you book, and we bring the right seat. We carry seats and boosters for each child's age and size, and they are priced when you book.

Can we stop for groceries on the way from the airport?

Yes. Ask for a grocery stop when you book, and your driver will stop at a store on the way to your hotel or vacation home (arranged when you book).

Do you pick up at Orlando Sanford Airport (SFB)?

Yes. At Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), pre-arranged rides pick up directly across the street from baggage claim areas 1 to 3. Rides from SFB are priced per vehicle.

Do your drivers speak Spanish?

Yes. JOB has Spanish-speaking drivers, so your whole ride can be in Spanish. Hablamos español.
