Pickup by area: Universal, International Drive and Kissimmee

Universal and International Drive

We drive straight to your ship from any Universal Orlando hotel, including Universal Helios Grand Hotel at Epic Universe, or any International Drive hotel. Universal's SuperStar Shuttle is an airport transfer, not a cruise shuttle, and the shared cruise shuttles start at the airport or Disney.

Kissimmee vacation homes

Renting a home in Kissimmee, Windsor Hills, Celebration, ChampionsGate or Reunion? We load the whole group and its luggage at your driveway, so nobody splits into rideshares. Gated community? Add the driver to the guest list.

Private car service vs a cruise shuttle, Uber or driving yourself

Shared shuttles cost $29.99 to $45 per person and run from the airport or Disney resorts on set schedules; UberXL runs about $95 to $120 per car from the airport alone. A JOB vehicle is one flat price for up to 14 people, from your door.

For a couple, a shared shuttle seat usually costs less, and we will say so. From 5 riders up, one flat-rate vehicle costs less than shuttle seats, and at 10 to 14 travelers one Ford Transit beats both the shuttle and the cruise-line bus.

What time should you leave your hotel on cruise day?

Leave 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes before your assigned boarding time, depending on your pickup area. Port Canaveral asks guests to follow the boarding time their cruise line assigns, so arriving much earlier rarely helps.

These include an I-4 traffic cushion; add about 30 minutes for a grocery stop (arranged when you book). Groups of 7 to 14: one Ford Transit, one pickup address, one driver, one price. See our private group shuttle.

Most ships dock between 6:00 and 7:00 AM. Staying in Orlando longer? We meet you at your terminal and drive you to your hotel or vacation home for the same flat rate.

  • Book before you sail: the Port requires fares to be pre-arranged and pre-paid; at Terminal 8, meet and greet is curbside.
  • Skip the surge: rideshare estimates rise 1.5 to 2 times between 7:30 and 9:30 AM on debarkation mornings.

Flying home the same day? Book Port Canaveral to Orlando Airport.

Add a stop, a car seat or a Spanish-speaking driver

  • A grocery or pharmacy stop for snacks or sunscreen (arranged when you book).
  • Car seats and boosters: we carry seats and boosters for each child's age and size, and they are priced when you book, following NHTSA guidance. See car service with car seats.
  • Spanish-speaking drivers: ¿Prefiere un chofer que hable español? Con gusto.
  • A Space Coast day before or after your cruise: see Kennedy Space Center transportation.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about your cruise transfer?

Call, text or WhatsApp us with your hotel, ship and group size. We reply with a flat price.

How far is Port Canaveral from Orlando?

Port Canaveral is about 54 miles from downtown Orlando, 60 miles from Kissimmee and 63 miles from Lake Buena Vista, according to Travelmath, or about 52 to 70 minutes east on SR 528 without traffic. From Orlando International Airport it is 42 to 45 miles.

How much is a car service from Orlando to Port Canaveral?

JOB's flat rate from an Orlando hotel or Kissimmee vacation home is $169 for a minivan (up to 6), $179 for an SUV and $259 for a 14-passenger Ford Transit. Prices are one way, per vehicle, with tolls included and gratuity optional.

Is there a shuttle from Universal or International Drive to Port Canaveral?

Not usually from your hotel door: the shared cruise shuttles we compared, such as Go Port, leave from Orlando International Airport, and Universal's SuperStar Shuttle is an airport transfer. A private car service is the direct door-to-terminal option.

How do I get from a Kissimmee vacation home to Port Canaveral?

Book a private van or SUV that picks you up at the vacation home and drives straight to your cruise terminal. Kissimmee is about 60 miles from the port, and one 14-passenger Ford Transit carries the whole group for $259.

What time should we leave our hotel for the cruise?

Leave 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes before your assigned boarding time, depending on where you are staying. Port Canaveral asks guests to follow the boarding time their cruise line assigns, so arriving much earlier rarely helps.

Can 14 people and their cruise luggage fit in one van?

Our Ford Transit 14-passenger van seats up to 14 and fits your luggage. Tell us your bag count when you book and we will confirm the right vehicle.

Can you take us from Port Canaveral back to our Orlando hotel after the cruise?

Yes. We meet you at your terminal on debarkation morning and drive you to your hotel or vacation home for the same flat rate as the trip out. Port Canaveral requires rides to be pre-arranged and pre-paid, so book before you sail.

Do you provide car seats for the ride to the port?

Yes. Request car seats or boosters when you book; they are priced when you book. We follow NHTSA guidance, including keeping children in the back seat through at least age 12.
