Disney Springs Transportation: Buses, Rideshare, Parking and Private Rides (2026)

On this page

Short answer

Disney Springs transportation changed on June 28, 2026: Disney buses and boats leaving Disney Springs carry only Disney Resort hotel guests and guests with a dining or experience reservation at one. Parking is free, and Uber and Lyft use two loops. A private JOB minivan, SUV or 12- or 14-passenger van from MCO to the Disney resort area starts at $99, and an hourly driver at $79 an hour.

What are the Disney Springs transportation restrictions?

Since June 28, 2026, Disney buses and Sassagoula River Cruise boats departing Disney Springs are only for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or visiting one with a dining or experience reservation. Disney Tourist Blog reports that Disney confirmed the rule is permanent.

  • Proof to board: a Disney Resort hotel room key, or a dining or experience reservation. Cast Members check at the entrances to the bus area; once inside, you can take any resort bus (BlogMickey).
  • Reservation window: with a dining or experience reservation, you can board up to 2 hours before your reservation time.
  • Hours: buses between Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs run while Disney Springs is open and stop one hour after closing.
  • Boats: the Sassagoula River Cruise runs from the Marketplace dock to Saratoga Springs, Old Key West and both Port Orleans resorts, under the same rule.
  • No theme park buses: Disney says bus service from the theme parks to Disney Springs is not available.

Disney Tourist Blog says the rule closes a free-parking workaround, where off-site visitors parked free at Disney Springs and rode resort buses onward; FOX 13 also covered the change.

Who is affected?

  • Off-site hotel and vacation-home guests in Kissimmee, Celebration or on International Drive with no Disney resort reservation.
  • Annual Passholders without a reservation, who Disney Tourist Blog reports are told to park at a theme park instead.
  • Guests at the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. Disney's wording covers guests staying at "a Disney Resort hotel," and Disney Tourist Blog, still awaiting official word, assumes no exception. Several of these hotels are a short walk away.
  • Not affected: Disney Resort hotel guests.

Where is the Disney Springs rideshare pickup?

Uber and Lyft drop off and pick up at two loops: the Marketplace Loop near Disney's Wonderful World of Memories, and the West Side Bus and Rideshare Loop next to the Strawberry parking lot. Disney points guests to the My Disney Experience app for current wayfinding.

Disney Springs rideshare loops
Rideshare loopWhere it isPick it when
Marketplace LoopIn the Marketplace, near Disney's Wonderful World of MemoriesYou're shopping or eating in the Marketplace
West Side Bus and Rideshare LoopOn the West Side, next to the Strawberry parking lotYou're finishing a show or dinner on the West Side
  • Set the pickup pin on the loop you're walking to, not on your restaurant; the loops are in different districts.
  • On special merchandise event days, including Tuesday pin releases, garages and rideshare loops open at 7:00 AM.
  • For a dining reservation or show, Disney asks you to arrive at least one hour early, or up to 2 hours at holidays.
  • An UberXL seats up to 6, so a group of 7 or more needs a second car.

Is parking at Disney Springs free?

Yes. Disney says standard self-parking is complimentary in all surface lots and garages. Garages open at 9:00 AM on regular days and at 7:00 AM on special merchandise event days.

  • Driving: from I-4, take Exit 67 toward EPCOT and Disney Springs, stay in the right lane and follow the signs. The address is 1486 East Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.
  • Accessibility: designated disability parking is in every lot and garage; a valid permit is required. The Car Locator in the My Disney Experience app can save where you parked.
  • The catch: free parking only helps if you have a car. A rental also means gas, a designated driver and hotel parking; the Holiday Inn next to Disney Springs charges $27 a night for standard parking.

How do you get from Orlando airport (MCO) to Disney Springs?

Disney Springs and the hotels around it are about 18 to 19 miles from Orlando International Airport, roughly 25 to 40 minutes by car. Choose a $2 LYNX bus, a shared Mears Connect shuttle, a metered taxi, Uber or Lyft, or a flat-price private ride. Disney says airport transportation is not included with a Disney Resort hotel stay.

Ways from MCO to the Disney Springs area, one way

What does it cost per person for a group?

From MCO to the Disney resort area, one way. JOB costs less per person than Mears Connect at 6 riders and from 9 up.

To be fair, metered taxis can cost less at every group size if large cabs are free and arrive together, and your bags fit. JOB's flat price buys one vehicle for everyone, a driver waiting inside the terminal with a name sign, car seats on request and a grocery stop on the way. Mears child fares (ages 3 to 9) are lower.

How do you get to Disney Springs from an off-site hotel or vacation home?

Disney buses don't serve off-site hotels, and since June 28, 2026, you can't ride a Disney bus or boat out of Disney Springs without a reservation. Off-site guests drive and park free, walk from Hotel Plaza Boulevard, use Uber or Lyft, or book a private driver.

Walking from the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels

Pedestrian footbridges connect Hotel Plaza Boulevard with the Marketplace. The Holiday Inn Orlando, Disney Springs Resort Area, says the walk takes 7 to 10 minutes on average.

From Kissimmee, Celebration, I-Drive or a vacation home

For a group dinner, the hard part is the ride home at 10 PM: two or three rideshare cars, a group split at the loop and kids without proper seats. A JOB driver can drop everyone off and come back at the time you choose, or you can book by the hour and keep the same vehicle all evening.

Groups of 7 to 14: one van instead of three cars

An UberXL and a standard Minnie Van each carry up to 6 people, and an Accessible Minnie Van up to 7. A group of 7 to 14 therefore needs two or three cars each way. JOB's 12- and 14-passenger Ford Transit vans carry the whole group in one vehicle at one flat price; see our private group van shuttle for reunions and team trips.

What comes with every JOB ride:

  • One flat price per vehicle, not per person; round trips save a step.
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal with a name sign at MCO (quoted with your ride).
  • Car seats and boosters (priced when you book; we carry seats and boosters for each child's age and size).
  • A grocery stop on the way from the airport (arranged when you book).
  • Spanish-speaking drivers.
  • $1,000,000 liability insurance, and every vehicle inspected and maintained.
  • A family-run Orlando company: riders know Pedro and his family by name.

Best service ever. They deserve to be recognized. Nicest family you'll ever meet.

Disney Springs with kids: car seats and strollers

  • Minnie Van: each van carries 2 child safety seats that Cast Members can install.
  • Uber and Lyft: read our guide to using Uber or Lyft with a car seat in Orlando before you count on one.
  • JOB: tell us each child's age and weight when you book and we bring the right seats (car service with car seats). Following NHTSA guidance, children ride in the back seat through at least age 12 and use a booster until the belt fits. That is our safety standard; this is general information, not legal advice.
  • At Disney Springs: strollers, wheelchairs and ECVs can be rented at Sundries next to the Town Center bus loop and at the Welcome Center.
