How does an hourly private driver work?
You book a block of time instead of a single ride. The driver picks you up, waits with the vehicle while you shop, eat or explore, and takes you to the next stop when you're ready.
- Tell us your plan: call, text or WhatsApp 407-837-5656 with the date, pickup address, group size and stops, and we suggest how many hours to book. We drive by reservation.
- Get one price: the hourly rate for the vehicle, with a minimum of 3 hours.
- Stop as often as you like: supermarket, outlet mall, restaurant, beach.
- Running long? Ask your driver about adding time.

Ours is one price per vehicle, gratuity optional.

What can you do with a private driver for the day?
A grocery stock-up, an outlet afternoon with dinner at Disney Springs, a Kennedy Space Center day or a rocket launch evening. The hours we suggest, and what they cost per person:
| Plan | Suggested hours | Example | Total | Per person |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vacation-home grocery run | 3 | 12 people, 12-passenger van | $297 | $24.75 |
| Outlets and a Disney Springs dinner | 5 | 14 people, 14-passenger van | $545 | $38.93 |
| A Kennedy Space Center day | 8 | 6 people, SUV | $712 | $118.67 |
| A rocket launch evening | 4 to 6 | Any vehicle | From $316 | Depends on the group |
Grocery run from your vacation home
We pick you up at your Kissimmee or Celebration rental, stop at the supermarket and pharmacy, and load the bags and cooler for the ride home. Three hours covers a big stock-up for a villa group. Only need groceries on the way from the airport? An airport transfer with a grocery stop costs less (arranged when you book).
Outlets and dinner at Disney Springs
Spend the afternoon at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets or Orlando International Premium Outlets, then drive to Disney Springs for dinner. Your shopping bags ride in the van, not under the table. More tips: getting to Disney Springs.
A Kennedy Space Center day
The visitor complex is about 50 miles east of Orlando, roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 by car, and "no public transportation is available for the visitor complex," according to Kennedy Space Center. Eight hours leaves time for the drive both ways and most of a day inside. Parking there is $15 for cars and $20 for oversized vehicles, and hours change by day. Only need a ride there and back? See our Kennedy Space Center transportation.
A rocket launch evening
Port Canaveral calls itself one of the best spots to watch a launch, and Cocoa Beach, 45 minutes east of Orlando, has some of the closest views. Launch times are "always subject to change with little notice" (KSC), which is why an hourly driver who waits through the countdown works better than a one-way ride. If a launch moves: Tell us as soon as a launch moves and we will work out your ride with you.
Planning an event instead? We also run wedding transportation in Orlando and hotel-to-venue shuttle loops for tournaments and conventions.
Hourly or a one-way transfer: which should you book?
Book a one-way transfer for a single trip from A to B. Book hourly when you have two or more stops, or want the driver to wait.
| Your plan | Best booking | From |
|---|---|---|
| MCO to your Disney resort, with a grocery stop | One-way transfer | $99 |
| Disney resort to Universal for a park day | Two one-way rides (Disney to Universal transfers) | $79 each way |
| Outlets, dinner and back to the hotel | Hourly | $237 for 3 hours |
| Kennedy Space Center with the driver waiting | Hourly | $632 for 8 hours |
| Ship to Kennedy Space Center to MCO | Baggage hold package | $249 |
Private driver from Orlando to Port Canaveral
For a straight ride to your ship, a flat one-way transfer costs less; book hourly only if you want stops on the way. MCO to Port Canaveral is about 42 to 45 miles, or 45 to 60 minutes on SR 528.
Driving yourself? Cruise parking at the port is $20 a day plus tax, counting arrival and departure days.
- Airport to ship: Orlando airport to Port Canaveral from $159 per vehicle.
- Hotel or villa to ship: car service from Orlando hotels and villas to Port Canaveral from $169.
- Stops on the way: book hourly for lunch in Cocoa Beach or a pharmacy run before boarding.
- Debarkation day: our baggage hold keeps your luggage while you visit Kennedy Space Center or the beach, then drives you to MCO, from $249.
Private driver vs a rental car or UberXL
A rental car looks cheaper until you add parking, tolls and a second car for a big group.
- Theme park parking: standard parking at Walt Disney World is $35 a day (included for registered Disney Resort hotel guests), and Universal self-parking is $35 a day, or $32 prepaid in the app.
- Tolls: Orlando tollbooths do not accept credit cards, so a rental needs cash or a toll pass.
- UberXL: each XL seats up to 6, every leg is priced separately with surge pricing at busy times, and a group of 14 needs three cars for each leg.
- A driver by the hour: one 14-passenger van carries everyone, the driver handles directions and parking, and nobody drives I-4 after a long park day.
