How far is Sanford Airport from Disney World?
Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is about 37 to 44 miles from the Walt Disney World resort areas, depending on your hotel. The drive takes about 54 to 62 minutes, longer in heavy traffic.
Is there a shuttle from Sanford Airport to Disney World?
No. Disney's Magical Express ended on January 1, 2022 and never served Sanford (its only airport was Orlando International, MCO), and Mears Connect does not serve SFB. From Sanford you need a rideshare, taxi, rental car, public transit or a private SUV or van.
How much does transportation from Sanford airport to Disney cost?
A standard Uber or Lyft often costs under $70 (more for an XL or at surge times), and a metered taxi costs over $100. JOB Transportation charges one flat price per vehicle, tolls included, from $159 for a minivan to $249 for a 14-passenger van.
Can 12 to 14 people ride together from SFB to Disney World?
Yes. Our 12- and 14-passenger Ford Transit vans carry the whole group and its luggage in one vehicle. With 14 riders, that works out to about $17.79 per person.
Do you provide car seats from Sanford Airport?
Yes. We carry seats and boosters for each child's age and size, they are priced when you book, and we follow NHTSA guidance. Tell us each child's age when you book and we bring the right seats.
Where do I meet my driver at Sanford Airport?
SFB's designated pickup zone for pre-arranged rides is directly across the street from Baggage Claim areas 1 to 3. We confirm the details with your booking.
Can we stop for groceries on the way to our Disney resort?
Yes. We can stop at a grocery store on the way so you arrive with water, snacks and breakfast supplies (arranged when you book).
Is it better to fly into SFB or MCO for Disney World?
MCO is closer to Disney, so the ride costs less: our MCO to Disney rates start at $99, against $159 from SFB. If your fare into Sanford saves your group more than that difference, SFB is a good choice.
