We have just returned and used Pedro and his family, excellent service and so nice. Will definitely use him again and continue to recommend.
Orange County Convention Center Shuttle and Team Transportation in Orlando
JOB Transportation of Florida runs a private Orange County Convention Center shuttle for teams, conventions, churches and schools, in 12- and 14-passenger Ford Transit vans, SUVs and a minivan priced per vehicle. A full 14-passenger van from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to the Convention Center, about 13 miles, is $165, roughly $11.79 per person. We're a family-run Orlando company, and the same vans take youth teams to ESPN Wide World of Sports and run daily hotel-to-venue loops.

How much is a team van per player?
A full 14-passenger van costs $11.79 per person from MCO to the Convention Center area and $12.79 to a Walt Disney World resort hotel, less than the airport's posted shared-van fare, and one vehicle instead of two or three UberXLs. Against the $21 shared van to I-Drive, one JOB vehicle costs less per person from 5 riders up.
| Your group, one way from MCO | JOB flat price | JOB per person | Shared van, MCO's posted fare | UberXL, up to 6 a car |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 14 riders to the Convention Center or I-Drive | 14-passenger van, $165 | $11.79 | $21 each, $294 | 3 cars, about $105 to $330 |
| 12 riders to the Convention Center or I-Drive | 12-passenger van, $145 | $12.08 | $21 each, $252 | 2 cars, about $70 to $220 |
| 6 colleagues to the Convention Center or I-Drive | SUV, $95 | $15.83 | $21 each, $126 | 1 car, about $35 to $110 |
| 14 riders to a Walt Disney World resort hotel | 14-passenger van, $179 | $12.79 | $23 each, $322 | 3 cars, about $165 to $300+ |
UberXL figures are third-party estimates and rise with surge pricing. Round trip for 14 riders, before any round-trip saving: $330 to the Convention Center area ($23.57 each) against $33 each on the airport's posted shared van, or $358 to a Disney resort against about $35.62 per adult on Mears Connect.
Is there a free Orange County Convention Center shuttle?
Only if your show runs one. Large conventions often contract buses between the Convention Center and their official hotels; APCO 2024, for example, ran them every 15 to 30 minutes during posted hours, stopping at the West Building, West A/B Lobby, Level 1. The Convention Center's own getting-here page lists rideshare, taxis, the I-RIDE Trolley, LYNX buses and pedicabs, but no airport shuttle.
A show shuttle leaves you on your own for:
- Airport days: show buses loop between hotels and the Convention Center, not to MCO.
- Hotels outside the official block, and Kissimmee or Celebration vacation homes.
- Early setup and late teardown: APCO's last bus left the hotels 60 minutes before the day's end time, with no return service.
- Dinners and park nights away from International Drive.
Good to know before you choose
- Rideshare: the Convention Center sends Uber and Lyft riders to one of three geofenced pickup points, depending on where you are on campus.
- Taxi: its posted estimates are $45 to $50 to MCO, $130 to Sanford airport, $15 to $17 to Universal Studios and $20 to $22 to Disney Springs.
- Driving yourself: parking is $20 plus tax ($21.30) per standard vehicle and $40 plus tax ($42.60) oversized, cashless only, and overnight parking is not allowed.
- Skywalk hotels: the Hyatt Regency Orlando, Rosen Plaza, Rosen Centre and Hilton Orlando connect by pedestrian bridge, so guests there may need only an airport transfer.

Transportation from MCO to the Orange County Convention Center
The Convention Center is about 13 miles from Orlando International Airport, according to MCO, and calls itself "only minutes" away. Allow extra time at rush hour and on big show days.
- 1
Send every flight number in your group. Teams often land on several flights, so we plan around the last arrival.
- 2
Meet your driver inside the terminal with a name sign: baggage claim is on Level 2 in Terminals A and B, and the Meet & Greet Area is on Level 6 in Terminal C.
- 3
One van, one stop: bags and equipment go in the back, and we drive straight to your hotel or the Convention Center.
ESPN Wide World of Sports transportation for teams
ESPN Wide World of Sports provides no transportation unless special transportation has been arranged for your event; otherwise every guest gets to and from the complex at 700 S. Victory Way, Kissimmee, on their own. For a team, that usually means a parent convoy, several rideshares or one van with a driver.
- Arrival day: the whole roster, coaches and bags in one van, $179 from MCO to a Walt Disney World resort hotel (see MCO to Disney World).
- Game days: a morning drop-off and evening pickup from your hotel or Kissimmee vacation home, by the hour.
- A grocery stop on the way in for water, sports drinks and snacks (arranged when you book). The complex lets coaches bring one cooler for team use.
- Off days: team dinners at Disney Springs or a park day, with a private driver by the hour.
General parking at the complex is free, spectator admission is $19.50 (ages 10 and up) and $14.50 (ages 3 to 9), and select events at the Diamondplex or MARATHON Sports Fields have an equipment drop-off zone. Check your event on the ESPN Wide World of Sports event finder or the Convention Center's event calendar, then send us the schedule.
AAU volleyball, cheer and youth tournaments
The AAU Junior Volleyball National Championships have filled the Convention Center in recent summers: the 2025 event ran 24 days, through July 7, and was expected to bring 6,515 teams, 239 courts and more than 325,000 players, coaches, families and fans, according to Visit Orlando.
- One team, one van: a 12-passenger Transit seats a 10-player roster plus two coaches; the 14-passenger adds room for chaperones.
- Vacation-home teams in Kissimmee get daily loops instead of a parent convoy.
- Teams from Puerto Rico and other Spanish-speaking clubs: we have Spanish-speaking drivers (van para grupos en Orlando).
- Cheer and dance squads: the whole squad, garment bags and props together for check-in, usually booked by the hour because competition days run from early call times to awards.
Church and school group transportation in Orlando
Churches, schools and youth groups book the same 12- and 14-passenger vans for conferences, college fairs, mission-trip airport runs and day trips. One flat price per vehicle makes the per-student cost easy to budget.
- College fairs and student conferences at the Convention Center: one van carries a counselor and a full group door to door, with no parking to pay or find.
- Insurance: every trip carries $1,000,000 in liability coverage, well above Florida's for-hire minimum of $125,000/$250,000/$50,000. This is general information, not legal advice.
- Car seats and boosters for younger siblings on family trips (priced when you book); see car service with car seats.
- Thinking of driving a rental? Compare renting a 15-passenger van vs a van with a driver.
- Church weddings: the same vans run wedding guest shuttles between hotels and venue.
Which vehicle fits your group?
