Car seat service at a glance
- Seat types: we carry seats and boosters for each child's age and size.
- Car seat fee: car seats and boosters are priced when you book.
- MCO pickup: your driver meets you inside the terminal with a name sign; meet and greet is quoted with your ride.
- Extras: a grocery stop (arranged when you book) and Spanish-speaking drivers.
- Hours: we drive by reservation (call or WhatsApp to check your time).
How our car service with car seats works
- Book and tell us about each child: age, weight and height, plus your flight number. Call, text or WhatsApp 407-837-5656, or book online.
- We match a seat to each child by the limits on the seat maker's label.
- Meet your driver inside the terminal. MCO suggests about 20 minutes after landing, or 40 with checked bags.
- Buckle the kids in, check each harness with your driver, and ride straight to your resort, hotel or vacation home.
Which car seat does my child need?
Go by height and weight, not just age. NHTSA advises keeping children rear-facing as long as possible, in a booster until the adult belt fits, and in the back seat at least through age 12. Not sure which stage fits? Send us your child's weight and height.
| Stage | Who it is for |
|---|---|
| Rear-facing infant seat | Newborns and babies, up to the seat's rear-facing limit |
| Convertible seat | Babies and toddlers: rear-facing, then forward-facing with a harness |
| High-back booster | Kids too big for a harness but too small for the adult belt |
| Backless booster | Older kids who still need a boost for the belt to fit |
How many car seats fit in each vehicle?
Each car seat or booster takes one passenger position, so count every child, babies included, in your headcount.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Car seats, most | Luggage | Good fit for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minivan | Up to 6 | Ask us | Ask us | One family with young kids |
| Ford Expedition or Chevrolet Suburban SUV | Up to 6 | Ask us | Ask us | One family with more luggage |
| Ford Transit 12-passenger van | Up to 12 | Ask us | Ask us | Two families traveling together |
| Ford Transit 14-passenger van | Up to 14 | Ask us | Ask us | Grandparents, cousins and three-family trips |
Uber Car Seat carries one seat and Disney's Minnie Van up to 2, so two families with four little ones would need four Uber Car Seat rides or two Minnie Vans. One Transit van keeps everyone, and every seat, together. Bigger group? See our private group shuttle in a 12- or 14-passenger van, or compare Uber XL luggage space with an SUV or van.
What does an Orlando car service with car seats cost?
MCO to Disney with car seats starts at $99 per vehicle, one way, with tolls and airport fees included and gratuity optional. You pay per vehicle, not per person. Round trips save a step.
| One-way route | Minivan | SUV | 12-passenger van | 14-passenger van |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MCO and Walt Disney World resorts | $99 | $109 | $159 | $179 |
| MCO and Universal or International Drive | $89 | $95 | $145 | $165 |
| MCO and the Port Canaveral cruise terminals | $159 | $169 | $229 | $249 |
| Walt Disney World and Port Canaveral | $179 | $189 | $249 | $269 |
Elsewhere in Orlando, seat fees run from nothing extra (The Genie includes them in a $135 SUV fare) to $10 to $15 per seat, per ride (Elite Transportation), as published in October 2026.
What does each family pay per person?
| Your group | Mears Connect, shared, with 6% fuel | JOB vehicle, private | JOB per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 adults, kids aged 5 and 2 | $52.47 | Minivan, $99 | $24.75 |
| 2 families: 4 adults, 6 kids aged 3 to 9 | $165.57 | 12-passenger van, $159 | $15.90 |
| 3 families: 6 adults, 8 kids aged 3 to 9 | $233.20 | 14-passenger van, $179 | $12.79 |
For one small family the shared shuttle costs less; once two families travel together, a private van with seats costs less and makes no other stops. Renting seats instead? Read about car seat rental at Orlando airport, or how Uber Car Seat works in Orlando.

Do you need a car seat in an Orlando taxi, Uber or shuttle?
It depends on the vehicle. Florida requires a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint for children 5 and younger, but the statute carves out some hired transportation (Fla. Stat. 316.613).
Whatever the statute says about a given vehicle, car seats are our own safety standard: a small child faces the same crash forces in any vehicle, so we bring a seat fitted per NHTSA guidance for every child you tell us about. This is general information, not legal advice.

Disney, Universal and cruise transportation with car seats
- MCO to Walt Disney World: Mears says its shared shuttle takes 30 to 60 minutes to Disney hotels, depending on traffic and stops; we drive straight to yours. See Orlando airport to Disney World.
- Universal and Epic Universe: MCO to Universal starts at $89 per vehicle. See MCO to Universal Studios and Disney to Universal transfers.
- Flying into Sanford (SFB): same seats, same service. See Sanford airport to Disney World.
- Port Canaveral cruises: about 42 to 45 miles from MCO. Disney Cruise Line's transfer costs $45 per guest, so a group of 12 pays $540; our 12-passenger van is $229, or $19.08 each. Book Orlando airport to Port Canaveral or Disney World to Port Canaveral.
- Debarkation day: we hold your bags while you visit Kennedy Space Center or Cocoa Beach, then drive everyone to MCO. See our Port Canaveral baggage hold.
- Several stops in one day: book a private driver by the hour and tell us about each child the same way.

Frequently asked questions
Traveling with little ones?
Call, text or WhatsApp us with each child's age, weight and height, your flight and where you're staying. We reply with a flat price.
Are car seats free with your Orlando car service?
Car seats and boosters are priced when you book. Tell us each child's age, weight and height when you book, and we add the seats to your reservation, so there are no surprises at pickup.
How many car seats fit in a 14-passenger van?
Tell us how many car seats and boosters you need when you book, and we confirm they fit. Every seat uses one passenger position, so count each child, babies included, in your total of 14.
Can I get an Uber with a car seat in Orlando?
Sometimes. Uber Car Seat in Orlando offers one forward-facing seat for a child at least 2 years old, 22 to 48 pounds and 31 to 52 inches tall, for an extra fee of about $10. It does not cover infants or a second child, so larger families need another option.
Do you need a car seat for the Disney shuttles?
Not on Mears Connect's motorcoach buses, where Mears says car seats are not required; it keeps only limited seats in its shuttle vans. Disney's Minnie Van includes up to 2 car seats, but its airport service is only for Deluxe, Deluxe Villa and Club Level guests.
Can I bring my own car seat?
Yes. Many families fly with their own seat, and we can supply any seats you did not bring. Tell us which seats you are bringing when you book.
What if my flight is delayed?
Give us your flight number when you book. We adjust your pickup to your flight's new time, and your reserved car seats wait for you too.
Do you provide car seats for Port Canaveral cruise transfers?
Yes, on every port run: the 42 to 45 mile drive from Orlando International Airport (MCO), Disney-to-port transfers and the ride home on debarkation day. Port transfers start at $159 per vehicle.
