Hotels Near Disney World With Shuttle Service: 11 Picks Checked for 2026

On this page

Short answer

Hotels near Disney World with a shuttle fall into two groups: the 7 Disney Springs Resort Area hotels, with buses to all 4 parks and 30-minute Early Entry, and other off-site hotels that set their own schedules. MCO lists no hotel airport shuttle for these areas, and two resorts bar groups of 10 or more. Private rides from MCO to a Walt Disney World resort start at $99.

The short list: 11 hotels near Disney World with shuttle service

We read every rule below on each hotel's official page or Disney's website on October 3, 2026. Shuttle times change without notice, so confirm with the front desk before you book.

Disney Springs Resort Area hotels vs Good Neighbor hotels: what's the difference?

The 7 Disney Springs Resort Area hotels are Official Walt Disney World Hotels within walking distance of Disney Springs. All 7 list buses to the 4 theme parks and get 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry.

Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotels, such as Buena Vista Suites, sit outside the Disney Springs area and set their own shuttle rules, as do the Kissimmee and I-Drive resorts below. Choosing among the best off-site Disney World hotels with a shuttle comes down to three things: which parks the bus serves, how often it runs and who may ride.

What the Disney Springs group gets:

  • Early Theme Park Entry: 30 minutes before the public, every day, with valid park admission and a Resort ID. A park reservation may also be required.
  • Hourly bus service: to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, as each hotel schedules it.
  • Walking access: Disney Springs' shops and restaurants are steps away, so evenings need no ride at all.

Disney's Early Entry list also includes the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve, Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Shades of Green. Ask each one how its park transportation works before you book.

Kissimmee hotels with a shuttle to Disney: how do they work?

They exist, but expect a few fixed departures, not an hourly loop. FantasyWorld Resort in Kissimmee is a typical example (schedule checked October 3, 2026):

FantasyWorld Resort shuttle schedule
Leaves FantasyWorldParkReturn bus leaves the park
7:05 AMUniversal Studios8:40 PM (Lane 83)
7:05 AMEpic Universe9:00 PM (Lane 66)
8:35 AMHollywood Studios4:45 PM (Lane 66)
11:25 AMEPCOT9:30 PM (Lane 33)

There is no direct Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom run. The resort notes that Disney runs free shuttles from Hollywood Studios to the other Disney parks from 1:30 PM until closing. Be at the stop 10 minutes before departure; the full schedule is handed out at check-in.

The ride is part of a nightly resort fee of $29.99 plus tax per townhome, charged whether you ride or not. Groups of 10 or more may not use it, and luggage, scooters and other large items stay off the bus.

When you compare other Orlando hotels with a Disney shuttle outside the Disney Springs area, check the same three details: how many departures a day, when the last bus home leaves, and the rider rules on the hotel's website. Renting a vacation home in Kissimmee or Celebration instead? Ask whether the community runs any park shuttle. If not, every park day and airport run is yours to arrange.

Which hotels have a shuttle to Disney World and Universal Studios?

A few off-site resorts serve both. Avanti International Resort on International Drive and FantasyWorld Resort in Kissimmee both list scheduled shuttles to Disney parks and Universal Orlando, but neither is a door-to-door ride.

Avanti says it is 2.5 miles from Epic Universe and 5 miles from Universal Studios. Its shuttle is for registered overnight guests and is included in the resort fee. Disney seats must be reserved 3 hours ahead, and Universal and Epic Universe seats in person up to 24 hours ahead. Avanti also notes that the shuttle stops at several places before returning to CityWalk, so allow extra time.

For a group that wants to hop between the two resorts on its own clock, our Disney to Universal transfers run from $85 in an SUV for up to 6. A 14-passenger van costs $135, or $9.64 each for a full group. Staying closer to Universal? See our sister post on hotels near Universal with a shuttle.

The fine print: what hotel shuttles won't do

Hotel shuttles are built for small parties on a park schedule. The hotels' own rules show the limits:

  • No luggage. Avanti and FantasyWorld both bar luggage on board, so the shuttle can't be your airport ride.
  • No groups of 10 or more. Both resorts say large groups may not use the courtesy shuttle.
  • Reservations and limited seats. Avanti boards first come, first served and asks for Disney reservations 3 hours ahead. DoubleTree Suites also requires shuttle reservations.
  • Fixed return times. At FantasyWorld the only Hollywood Studios return leaves at 4:45 PM.
  • Delays. Avanti warns its buses may run 20 minutes late and won't reimburse a missed shuttle.
  • "Free" after fees. At resorts that fold the shuttle into a nightly resort fee, you pay for it whether you ride or not.
  • No airport service. MCO's rate table lists "Hotel Shuttle: N/A" for the Disney Resorts, Lake Buena Vista, Kissimmee and International Drive areas. Disney also says airport transportation is not included even with a Disney Resort hotel stay.

How do you get from MCO to a hotel near Disney World?

Book that leg separately: taxi, shared shuttle, rideshare or a private car service. For the Hotel Plaza Boulevard hotels, drivers take SR 528 west to I-4 and Exit 68, and Mears Connect says Disney-area trips take 30 to 60 minutes depending on your hotel, traffic and the number of stops.

Mears Connect's list of hotels it serves includes the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels. Waldorf Astoria, Buena Vista Suites, FantasyWorld and Avanti were not on it when we checked, so guests there should compare taxi, rideshare and private rates.

Hotels on International Drive, such as Avanti, use our Universal and I-Drive rate, from $89. For a hotel elsewhere near Disney, send the address and we confirm the flat price. JOB prices include tolls and airport fees, and gratuity is optional. See our private ride from MCO to Walt Disney World page, the MCO ground transportation hub, and Minnie Van vs a group van.

When a private van is cheaper than the shared shuttle (6 to 14 people)

From MCO to a Walt Disney World resort, one JOB vehicle costs less per person than Mears Connect at 6 riders and from 9 up, and leaves when your group is ready. For 6 adults, an SUV at $109 costs about the same as 6 shared seats.

8About $14912-passenger van, $159$19.88

12About $22412-passenger van, $159$13.25
14About $26114-passenger van, $179$12.79

At 8 people the shared shuttle is about $10 cheaper in total. Mears' child fare ($14.30 for ages 3 to 9, plus the fuel surcharge) narrows the gap for young families, and Mears serves only the hotels on its list; our Mears Connect guide covers how it works.

What about park days?

If your hotel's shuttle bars groups of 10 or more, a family of 12 needs another way in. Two ways to do it:

  • A van to the park, then back at closing: a one-way ride from a hotel in the area to a Walt Disney World park is $85 in a 12-passenger van or $95 in a 14-passenger van. Smaller parties ride in a minivan or SUV: $59 or $65. Book both legs and the whole group arrives together, on your schedule.
  • An hourly driver: $109 an hour for the 14-passenger van, with a minimum of 3 hours. Three hours, $327, is $23.36 each for 14, enough for a Disney Springs dinner and the ride back.

Group of 7 to 14? See our private 12- or 14-passenger group van.

What a private ride adds that a hotel shuttle can't

  • Meet and greet at MCO: your driver waits inside the terminal with a name sign (quoted with your ride).
  • Room for bags: luggage rides with you in the 14-passenger van or an SUV; tell us your bag count and we confirm the fit.
  • Car seats and boosters: we carry seats and boosters for each child's age and size, and they are priced when you book. It's our safety standard, following NHTSA guidance to keep children in the back seat at least through age 12. More on our Orlando car service with car seats page.
  • A grocery stop on the way to your hotel: arranged when you book.
  • Spanish-speaking drivers: hablamos español.
  • One flat price per vehicle: a 12- or 14-passenger van keeps 7 to 14 people together, with no per-head math.
  • Insured and maintained: $1,000,000 in liability insurance, and every vehicle inspected and maintained.
